1401 BED OF HORRORS A most diabolically conceived method of execution is this device of destruction. The
victim in the person of the performer is strapped to the bed below a massive platform of long, sinister appearing spikes. A curtain is placed around the lower portion of the apparatus to allow visibility of
the spikes and a clear view under the table. The heavy platform comes thundering down and spikes protrude through the bottom of the bed, surely impaling the unfortunate performer. A surprise awaits the
relieved audience in a fitting climax to this breathtaking Owen spell binder. Owen has installed adequate safety devices on this illusion designed from Walter Jeans description in Goldstons "Further
Exclusive Magical Secrets." |

1402 WATER TORTURE CELL This death defying and spectacular escape was recreated by Owen Magic for a
television special. The performer is shackled by the ankles and dropped head first into a crystal clear water cell. He is locked in by a committee and is visible from all four sides. The curtains are drawn
with the committee on guard and yet the performer makes his escape in a matter of moments. For breathtaking suspense this Owen masterpiece of escape cannot be topped. Owen has built this effect as nearly
safe as humanly possible and yet both the heavy wood stocks with their locks and the clear framework may all be exhaustively examined. |

1403QUICK RELEASE HANDCUFFS The performer's wrists are securely locked by a committee with two locks which
may be furnished by the spectators. All equipment may be minutely inspected. The performer then is able to escape in an instant or to free one hand, performing all kinds of amazing feats and yet when his
hands are examined he is found as securely fettered as before. The handcuffs consist of two sets of chains and a solid steel connecting link. |

5074 SUBSTITUTION TRUNK MYSTERY A strongly made trunk is subjected to critical examination by a committee
from the audience. The performer's assistant is placed in a bag, tied and placed in the trunk which is then locked and thoroughly roped. The trunk is then placed in a cabinet. The performer, standing in
front, suddenly darts inside and draws a curtain. Almost instantly the curtain is reopened and the assistant steps forth. The trunk is immediately unroped and unlocked and, upon the bag being untied, the
performer is found therein. The trunk we supply for this wonderful effect is positively the finest to be obtained. Specially built from the ground up, this trunk may be used to carry the rest of your act.
