THREE CAN MONTE

Fast moving entertainment for the largest venue, based on the "Three Shell Game." The girl is never where the audience thinks she'll be, then suddenly there are three! Three large inverted trash cans rest on thin rolling platforms. A girl ducks under one, and the cans are mixed around. While the audience has their eye on the can with the girl, suddenly she's under another can entirely! The astonishing ending is the best kind of magical surprise, since it has its own crazy logic. The cans are galvanized steel, just like real trash cans. The cans stack, so the apparatus takes up relatively little room for a big, feature illusion. The routine can be presented under nearly any staging conditions, even in the round.

THE INDIA RUBBER GIRL

In this Owen effect not only does the girl stretch but her bones apparently elongate beyond any reasonable possibility. The fasteners are free to move vertically and diagonally and move they do, carrying portions of the unfortunate girl with them in six different directions simultaneously. However, back they come restoring the creature to normalcy to the relief of all concerned.

IMPALED BEYOND BELIEF

A new and spectacular illusion. The mesmerized victim is suspended on the tip of a sword. As she is slowly revolved 360° suddenly she drops down onto the blade IMPALED. Slowly she pulls herself back to the tip of the sword where she is removed by the performer and shown to be unharmed. This illusion can be done surrounded in the center of a nightclub floor. Spectacular magic at its best.

FOUNTAIN IMPAILED

Owen Magic has created many versions and refinements of "Impailed." Now the illusion has evolved into something brand new, with a completely different lighthearted feeling. A beautiful fountain in the classic style has a single jet of water emerging from the center. The overflow cascades  attractively over the fountain into the base. Lighting in the bowl of the fountain and in the base make a striking display. The lady in question is held over the fountain, where she is apparently suspended on the single column of water. As the water jet increases in height, the lady rises into the air. She or another performer may pass a hoop entirely over herself and right through the water jet; there seems to be no support save for the insubstantial water.

Suddenly she seems to slip downward, the water jet has penetrated her body! She may rotate 360 degrees if desired, there is no doubt that the water is going right through her! But Magic's crazy logic prevails, she pushes down on the fountain emerging from her middle and pushes herself upward once again to the top of the jet, from which she is removed.
